God helps those who...

God helps those who realize they cannot help themselves.
We are sinners, when we ask God to bridge the gap made my sin by coming into our lives; He shows you the bridge that has already been made for you by His Son, Jesus, who gave His life on the cross to pay for your sins. Read about this truth in the book of Mathew in the Bible for more information.

_{<edit 12-12-12> Btw: This is not saying we cannot help ourselves, as in we have no control over what we are doing. We make choices every day, we have free will, and because of that we are responsible for our actions. But what this stamp is saying is that we cannot help/earn ourselves and our way into Heaven. And Heaven isn't the true goal here either, neither is staying out of Hell. Our goal should be to love God, want to serve Him, and to give glory to Him, become a mirror of Him, become clay for His hands to mold into whatever pot He desires.
So Christianity is not a works based religion of "do-do-do" and "don't-don't-don't", it is a repentance and faith based relationship of "Done".</edit>}
