Pseudoboletus parasiticus by Oniroid Pseudoboletus parasiticus by Oniroid
Pseudoboletus parasiticus, previously known as Boletus parasiticus and Xerocomus parasiticus, commonly known as the "Parasitic Bolete" is a rare, inedible Boletaceae mushroom found on earthballs.
Very Happy :) to find these today, a first for me :)
The psedoboletus caps were small only 1.5cm

Yeah, it seems I sometimes get rare mushrooms like the Volvariella bombycina. However, so far I found only three mushrooms which are protected in Hungary. (and today one introduced species)

This is why i think that mushroom hunting is so good, There are just so many to find :)
Volvariella bombycina i have as a medium rare :) I would like to find some boletus satanas, There has to be some somewhere! in my area.

The rares in Hungary I have for example: Hygrocybe nigrescens, Volvariella pusilla, Lactarius lilacinus, Paxillus rubocundulus and Suillus lakei (that one is the introduced I mentioned)
