Why aren't these shaggy?  Or am I confused?

There seems to be a huge variance in appearance with the honey mushroom, Some smooth some shaggy some pale yellow some bright yellow some pinkish some greenish etc, Perhaps that's just how they are "very varied" The shaggy button pictures i have uploaded are of very young formations no bigger than 1.5cm, They loose some of the acute shaggy appearance as they caps surface stretches out with expansion.
