Winter Widow

So I submitted this deviation maybe three years ago or so but I wanted to upload it to my current account. I still have it up at my old one though, because, comments <3 I'm silly, I can't part with my comments. Anyway, don't anybody report this to dA as theft, it's my own I swear XD


This was my first big color pencil project, and come to think of it my Sansa one is still undone in my notebook. They're time consuming but comforting too for people like me who are petrified of making mistakes and not being able to undo them. Color pencils take so much layering that you have time to catch mistakes and at least mitigate them. OTOH it takes a long while to cover the paper.

I had some really useful feedback on this about how it was maybe a bit too cliched and movie poster like, which I thought was a great point and in retrospect I would've maybe liked to make this a little more lively and visually challenging. I also would've liked to have actually finished it, ahhahah, but it's done enough for me. I'm lazy.
