In the deep tunnel (Toph and Badgermole)

Crying for someone that won't come

In the deep tunnel, there are no directions.
Can I say I'm lost when I have nowhere to go?
Can I say I'm afraid of someone I cannot change?
All I want is to take back what is mine,
But I know this battle I cannot win.
I have found myself in the deep tunnel,
And at the moment, what I can see,
You're standing there, waiting for me,
I don't know you, and you don't know me.
No words have spoken, yet you are so kind.
That is when I know we're all the same, 
It's beginning of something new.
I don't know if it'll get better or worse,
But at that moment, I'm no longer alone."

Redraw one of the exquisite encounter scenes in atla. I keep thinking about how this encounter has changed her life completely.

I've decided to pick up poetry again after inspired by ryuudust 's beautiful works and poems.

The poem is not just describing Toph, but also my experience in recent years. 2020 was a rough year for me where I almost fall back to the pit that I climbed out a few years ago, but at the same time, this is the year where I met so many people that helped me take little step by little step through this. A lot of them were strangers. They didn't know me, and yet they are so kind and supportive, and I'm grateful to meet them in my life, even just a short moment. 

So, to my family, friends, artist friends, mentors, coworkers, people who enjoy my works, strangers, even the people that no longer friends, thank you for being such wonderful people and thank you for being there for me.
