Note: My gallery is sorted by color - not by subject (+ a single stock-folder).
Artistically: When I was 13, I got a 4,1 megapixel digital camera, and I quickly started to photograph absolutely everything. The tree in the backyard, the snails on the wet rocks, the rhododendron. Clouds. My friends. Back then, I used photography to document my life, no matter how trivial. After high school I bought a DSLR (most of my pictures on deviantART were taken using this basic Canon 550D), and then I really started to shoot photos to express myself artistically. I started to edit my photos. I started to think about depth of field, lighting and angles. I've upgraded my gateway cameras to one with a bit more power, but really, gear is not even the most important part. Art is an explosion. Photos are little time machines, and through them I can relive these moments. That is why I love it, and that is why I will keep on.
Professionally: I am an agrobiologist by profession, currently working as a research assistant at a university. I work with the welfare of poultry.
Personally: I am a really sweet, semi-awkward, hard working person, and you can always come to me for anything.
Oliver: Oliver is the ginger tabby often featured on my photos. He is 6 years old. He likes being outside, catching mice and birds, exploring... He likes belly rubs, and he is really easy-going and patient.
