The midday sun shone down brightly from its perch in the sky. There was scarcely a cloud to block it out. Most other clouds had already passed by, gathering in the distant horizon. Those that did stick around were simply small, puffy cumulus. Hardly a threat to anyone that was currently out and about. Overall, it was a beautiful but hot day. Chams not well-suited to the heat would have to often take breaks to stay cool.
After many hours of gathering debris and loose planks, it was discovered that they had been bits and pieces of Rokusho’s old ship. The Chimereon had been devastated at first, heart aching for what he had lost. Marin, however, upon seeing his distress decided to rescind her curse upon him. He had come a long way since that time. Now came the strenuous task of rebuilding the entire ship. Luckily for Rokusho, so many Chimereon volunteers were already gathered in one place, and most of them would be up for the job.
Aquarius had been at the event since its start
The scorching afternoon sun beat down relentlessly on the backs of Chimereon volunteers as they worked diligently to clean up the scattered debris from the shoreline. Most of said debris consisted of wooden planks and crates, as well as the odd bottle or other baubles. Clearly, this had previously been some sort of seafaring ship. Perhaps it was majestic at one time, but now it was reduced to nothing but its base parts. Something horrendously powerful must have destroyed it. Ita couldn’t help but wonder if a tremendous, raging sea monster had done this damage. It wouldn’t be difficult to believe after the waves had gotten their way with the shipwreck.
She bent down once more, scooping another wooden plank into her arms. For a moment, she paused to inspect it, turning it carefully in her hands. It wouldn’t do to get a splinter. Her eyes searched the debris hungrily for scratch marks, only for her face to drop slightly in disappointment as she found nothing. It was work a shot either
A cool spring gust curled gently over Malibu’s face, causing her to pause in her tracks as it tugged at the decorative leaves that she wore. A cacophony of sound quickly followed as it rustled the budding limbs of the nearby trees. The cham took a moment to glance upwards, silently admiring the way the branches dipped and swayed with the breeze. Every so often, clear blue skies peeked through the small openings that the densely packed trees created.
She couldn’t have asked for more of a pleasant day. While there was a slight lingering chill to the morning air, it was obvious that the sun would chase it away as the day continued. It was nearing the early afternoon, so she doubted it would be around much longer. Malibu was sure that a fine fog would have coated the ground had she arrived here earlier. Part of her was disappointed that she missed such a view.
Continuing onwards, she followed the well-worn path that ran parallel to the river. It wasn’t paved, but it might as well have

Hi, my name is Raven. I'm only just getting back into digital art after years due to anxiety, so I'm pretty rusty. My gallery is pretty empty right now, but more are will be post in the upcoming days.
