Smoke and mirrors by onechristina

I am a big sucker for mirror shots, especially when they play with symmetry. This, however, is an unusually introspective and involved psychological portrait where the subject seems to be making an assessment of herself. The necklace at the lower right corner captured by the reflection seems to indicate a major change as its appears to be discarded. Perhaps the young lady is looking critically at her wardrobe and impeccable nails and wondering if this is the self she wishes to show to others as being genuine. There is little of the blank wistfulness that I see in most high-end fashion magazines that a shot like this would be in. There is a story hear that the viewer may want to know more of... Brava!
