Long Hall by ondrejZapletal Long Hall by ondrejZapletal
The hall went for what seemed like hundreds of meters. There was light coming through dirty windows on one side and weird pressure windows on the other side. Those lead to another, diferent, but parallel hall. The holes in the ground were all filled with rain watter, i wondered if any life can survive in there, could there be fish living inside? Maybe at least some insect larvae... but then I saw the toxic signs and smelled the chemicals - nothing can live here. Well, maybe rats.. definitely rats. A lot of them. I hope they did not mutate from all this toxic stuff.

A very dystopia feel.
I love how the hallway just seems to never end.

I would nearly say that this is one of the decaying halls of Detroit. Don't know any other place that has such abandoned halls except radiated areas like in Tschernobyl.

it's so weird that something so vast is not not of use. Surely it was useful at some point. Makes you ponder. great shot!

right? i mean, the building is still standing.. but i am afraid there a lot of toxic stuff inside, it would require at least some sanitation

That sucks but it still looks awesome! Worth it if just for a while anyway.

as far as i know, it was a machine building factory. Trains might have been made there, but I'm not sure about this building in particular

It's rare for me to like this theme of photography, but I feel very comfortable looking at this. Maybe it's the warm lighting that's filling the void there, but still very open. I like that.

Beautiful photo!
