11th Week, 2026 On Kindness, mercy, forgiveness

And such childlish things...

Well, I'm going to insist on that, as largely these things are:

• Critical

• Unpopular

• Suspect

It seems like we are going through a decade or two of being strong, tough, resilient, powerful, full of pride and such things. Those values are important and necessary to be free, but without mercy, kindness, love, forgiveness, humbleness and such other childish things, they can bring the worst of humanity.

People fail and they do so brutally (another word in fashion these days).

People should care for each other

People should be open to offer forgiveness whenever it's safe, possible, and those forgiven are sincerely stopping to do wrong, etc.

Kindness should be the prefered answer.

So, even if it's just a teardrop in the sea, I am even more resolute in bringing these softer values to my fiction.
