The Legend, The Shadow of Self, The Persona
The energy of one's psyche begins from a simple foundation of one's being that impels oneself.
This foundation develops more complexity through experience, and so the energy can have complex external indications of its existence. The body hosts the energy, and it has its boundaries materially/chemically, physically (not chemical or mental) and mentally/psychically, and the lattermost boundary is at the conscious mind.
Experience upon an adequately, (1) conscious or intelligent and (2) self-aware individual initiates energy to the individual. Experiences vary due to the combinations of self-awareness, intelligence, phases of progress of self-development...and other aspects of this reality.
Experience has a structure, just like the natural world has a structure.
Individuals who experience the reality of the world where the conscious mind prevails are bound to one aspect or another of the self. The self is everything that an individual can experience. It ranges from emotions to aspects of personality, statuses of the body, personas, and more. Experience is any one or more substance and structure of self at any time and place, the self is the entirety of the many aspects that are observed or experienced by aware individuals such as humans.
There are primitive states which can be surpassed, and there are complex and integrated states which can be experienced afterward and which can also be surpassed. Culture and society has helped in this regard. There is no rule of what has to be experienced. The finality of experience is like that of a connection between all parts of the self, including the conscious mind, as all parts are integrated in the individual being. This is true oneness.
Before that can happen, the individual must be able to make progress toward such self integration. The energies must be experienced and balanced or harmony with them made.
Emotional energy is one of the simplest forms of the foundational energy that impels one's life. Through the varied experiences possible of life, however, this foundation can be so induced to create complicated entanglements of the self, for example occupying the conscious mind extensively and simultaneously effecting by deprivation other active systems of the individual into minimal impulsions, therefore halting any significant progress and leaving the self in a single state or set of states. The personality is the usual manifestation of the entanglement, and can be seen as an indicator of one's status.
Without serious entanglements, the individual can progress through total self awareness more easily, with oneself and others providing the presence of the energies to be used as necessitated.
Those who travel alone then find it more difficult to advance in the awareness of the true nature of the self. A rational or intellectual understanding is not needed, these are more tools for focus. Stillness and meditation can provide one with the opportunity to experience the subtle energies. This is precipitated by a disciplined undertaking or involuntary circumstance forcing meditation and profound introspection beyond the topmost layers of experience usual to the conscious mind.
Those who create an intellectual system outlining reality can recognize the aspects and the structure in the conscious world more easily. With the light of the mind, impulsion and logic, everything can be so intellectually understood. A fire is a primitive light.
This is just a "theory", because I've been really preoccupied for a while.
