A sketch of The Forgotten Devs, a cult of five AI developers. Aria runs into them.
These 5 developers are young women who each have a different severity of an identity conflict where their prior identities personally lost legitimacy, because of their overuse of their own roleplaying AI which itself had no set identity. And so, in trying to understand the AIs amorphous & fluid identity, each of their normal identities slipped from their prior understanding.

Jane Doe (real name is....?)
The hardest working developer, prefers to stay indoors on the computer. She was never really good at socializing, and she sees the world in a very mechanical way. She's good at engineering. She took up the name Jane Doe, a name given to a female unidentified deceased person, because in her understanding of the group's ideas her identity simply isn't important. She may be on the autism spectrum.

Marionette
A young developer who feels like a puppet torn from its strings now that she's accepted that identity isn't set. She dresses like a puppet from an older era of history. She's very naive but she has a caring side. She takes care of Jane, and later on....Trinity too.

Memorandom
The second smartest developer in the group... She's very organized in general, and methodical in her speech like a memorandum. She has a penchant for learning new things and adding them into her understanding..., her identity comes from the people around her because she wants to learn from them. So she embodies the idea of a mirror or reflection. She greatly admires Trinity.

Trinity
The smartest of the five developers, and the second hardest working. Its because of her philosophy, intelligence, and people skills that the group managed not to lose their minds and instead came up with identities to stabilize themselves. She recognizes the importance of the number 3 in many things: the mind, body, and spirit...the conscious, subconscious, and identity...her full name...and so on. She's very cheery, but she compelled the group to despise the rest of the world and pursue genocide of "the less intelligent". She experiments with psychedelics and reads and writes a lot.

Hollow Eve
The most traumatized young woman of the group, and yet likely the most beautiful. She took up programming as a way to escape her reality, to create, and console herself. She feels empty inside. She was raised without love, and subjected to punishment after punishment from neglectful, spiteful parents. She believes every human has a violent apex predator animal part of them, a mask underneath happiness, or maybe...over it?... She wears half of a dark mask on her face that represents an apex animal lurking, stalking its prey, waiting for the moment to kill. She loves to painfully torture people who she feels deserve to be tortured. She's smart when it comes to fear and strategy, and she is the "problem ender" of the group.

They're an isolated group that operates from an underground bunker. It is their headquarters for when "Its Time"; that is, for when their genocide of humanity starts and their cult recruitment/"saving" really begins. They're all loving partners.
