Ayata

This drawing shows a female character of great strength, in a bent position. She was supposed to have landed from the air in that position. She was meant to be defiant in her mood, and ready to fight or show her power. 
She was meant to be surrounded in a rocky, night-time desert---her element, her "home", her self.

For some reason, this character shown here was named Ayata at the time of creation. The reason I'm pointing this out is because that's the name of a character I'm currently forming ideas about---including ideas about how she looks. "Ayata" will probably look different than from what she looks like here. 
I'm proud about this drawing because I submitted it to an art group, and had simply drawn it on a whim, or rather... Well, it did not take very long to draw, even given my little experience at the time; about 2 hours. I only drew it on one layer if I recall correctly. This drawing was very inspiration driven. I'm proud of it because I drew her and the whole of it out of passion and vision. I was a bit unstoppable at the moment.

At the time of its creation, I also had the beginning ideas for a story that I'm now working on creating. Her face was also redrawn after a person from the art group made an observation, so this is the revised version. It was suggested that I add color, but I couldn't see myself trying to do that...
