As crystal dynamics announced the next game will be a reboot i was totally excited! i'm a huge fan!
when i saw Lara's new design i really wanted to paint her but i just couldn't fit it in my schedule BUT luckily there's a contest! so i just found a reason to paint her!

i saw already all the gameplay and everything i could get my hands on but what i loved most was the scene when her leg is trapped in a bear trap and she has to shoot huge wolfs that jump on her from a bush.
i thought that specifically that scene showed the concept of surviving well. i took my interpretation from it, the colors, light, the wolfs but in my style- as realistic as possible and with tons of details!

when i was painting it my computer crashed and it was in the shop for a while so i was so hoping that i'll manage to finish this image on time and i miraculously did! i painted it for the LONGEST time it was very difficult, tons of details, she's super complex but i enjoyed it!

after the contest.. which i don't believe i'll win..
