Found II

"It was then in my dream adventure of excited discovery that I made the mistake of glancing here and there, the scenery changing each time I did so as it is wont to do in such unreality.  Gazing at a sky either of haze or felt, a biting wind brought my attention back down to 'earth.'  The strange beacon I had found and all around it was now covered in snow.  A deeper shadow cast under whatever ambient light shone to the ground tempted me once again to make the folly of glancing up.  An awesomely huge bar that stretched across the sky to the very horizons was passing with unsettling speed in front of what seemed to be a very bright star.  It was not the sun, and I saw no moon."
