Samurai spirit?

What a strange samurai with a claw!

Gen-an Shiranui always was one of my favourite characters. Yes, I love rare, uncommon and ugly chars and designs. They're always funnier than main characters.

When I play Samurai Shodown (Spirits, to purists), I choose Gen-an without any doubt. He's very original, funny and... he has a family! Pure love.
He doesn't appear in all chapters, but he make some cameos and it's rumored he's a far ancestor of Mai Shiranui... SNK always in mistery...
