The reality TV show 30 days recently aired an episode where an atheist was sent to live with a Christian family for a month; she had to attend church services with them, bible study and discuss her reasons with them for being an atheist. The show didn't spark a huge debate afterwards at my house, but then we are mostly in consensus as to what we believe and don't believe. I did feel that it was worth writing about though, since I've run into more than my fair share of religious intolerance in the past. I've also read on several message boards about the show that people feel the atheist woman (Brenda) didn't present her case well or offer any reasoning for her beliefs or lack thereof.
