#104 Samurai Jack (S1e1: The Beginning)

I wanted to start a new series where I draw one character from every episode of Samurai Jack starting with Jack himself!
This will also be a cool way to rewatch the show.
It was really cool to draw Jack again because I drew him very early on in my character portrait series. I can really see how I've improved due to this. I kinda messed up a thing with his mouth though but oh well.

Here's also a review of the episode
Episode 1 "the Beginning" is very good at setting up the story of Samurai Jack. We see the foundations and backstory of Jack's character and how his grudge against Aku starts. It was also very interesting to see Jack being trained and taking in different cultures from different people. For example Robin Hood, the African tribe leader and the vikings were very cool. The final fight was also cool but unfortunately ends in Jack being transported into the future.
