Art exchange challenge by ages-of-thedas.deviantart.com/ I got this fine Tevinter magister from Tamarandom as soon as I saw his hair and beard I knew I could do it. He's an ice-mage, and also a bit more on the quiet side, a blood-mag. Then who isn't in Tevinter, right. Thank you Tamarandom for letting me borrow! I hope I did him justice!

To know when I have to to stop drawing is one of the hardest things I've ever tried to learn. We did these things at art school (10 mins, maybe twenty) and then used a week for oil or acrylics. Mine always came out worse after a week.
Aaw thanks! I think that sketchy style has become something of a trademark. We had to do them in 5 to ten mins and then in acrylics for a week. My sketches was always much better than the finished result. AND so I was repeatedly told...
It IS very hard. We all hated it in the beginning. After two minutes the model changed position, it went on for one week, and you felt like you were drawing nothing but crap. The next week five minutes seemed like an eternity, and you understood why brain-camp was actually good for you.
