I bought a pack of comic pencils this summer, and I've been wanting to use them, but that never happened. Now I tried, I made a mess of his face, but I am kind of happy with the staff!
I can'r recall the name of this Inquisitor, for once it wasn't Blaise2. Michael I think... like the archangel.

Looks real nice! I get a... "feeling of motion" when I like at this one, like your Inquisitor's hair is floating around and the staff is slightly swinging as he walks. BTW, he really doesn't look like the mage who is willing to serve to me
, somehow I can see him leading the mages to freedom from the Chantry!

Study Francois Bourgeon. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fran%C3%… He is the master and I have most of his stuff although nowadays they are considered rarities. If you search on images by him you get some good examples.
This wasn't a fail, it's actually very powerful, it just didn't come out the way you expected.
Having grown up with an art critic I have come to the conclusion that there is an awful lot of narrow-mindedness in the art world and it should be ignored in the name of creativity.

SERGE LETENDRE & REGIS LOISEL - LA QUETE DE L'OISEAU DU TEMPS (according to me the number one)
PIERRE CHRISTIN & JEAN-CLAUDE MEZIERES - VALERIAN
FRANCOIS BOURGEON - LES PASSAGERS DU VENT
MOEBIUS - LE GARAGE HERMETIQUE (fantastic!!)
Hermann Huppen (belgare) Bernard Prince
Andreas, Rork. Actually German but I found him in Tintin.
I'm leaving out the obvious....
Oh, Perverse Pepere is kind of a fav

He he, I got a bit confused when you called 'Linda och Valentin 'Valerian' but then I have only read them in Swedish. I have several of the albums and would like more but they cost like a thousand kr for one album unless you get the new release that has recently appeared. Got a lot of Bernard Prince too. As for Moebius I have quite a few of the Blueberry albums he worked on. Seems we definitely share some comic favourites. I would love to unpack my comics. They are currently in a box somewhere in my parents' barn in northern Sweden, with exception of a few.
