StopMo - Grocery Meats by Olive-Owl StopMo - Grocery Meats by Olive-Owl
Huge fan of stop-motion environments and animation, so I prepared some miniature props for my portfolio. Food packaging always looks appealing to me so I gave a shot at grocery store meats. The nickel there is for size comparison!

Done in super sculpey, foam, acrylic, plastic wrap, newspaper and ink.

This looks like it could come straight from Aardman (a British stop-motion company, famous for Wallace and Gromit and Chicken Run, but I'm sure you knew that.) This is fantastic work!

This is delightful! Impressively realistic, right down to the bar codes and the bloody meat juices soaking into the butcher paper...

Saran-wrapped styrofoam trays of raw meat are just about the least glamorous form of foodstuff in existence, but these tiny, lovingly detailed sculptures elevate them to the realm of art!

Sorry for the late reply, but wow. Thank you very, very much for the comment!

The bar codes and writing were certainly interesting to write out, especially with food that size. There were times where I felt using a 0.05 size ink pen just wasn't going to be small enough to get the details I wanted. Working this tiny has certainly been an experience for me.
