A musical blog (smackmybeatup.blogspot.com) opened some weeks ago, dealing with dancefloor-ot-not-compliant electronica, with a friend Fl0wed.
Tomorrow, I will offer myself, as a birthday present, a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS6. Please note that "DMC", in francophone countries, gorgeously mean "IMA", the acronym for the so poetic sentence "In My Ass". Sad but true. ^^:
Earlier again, I bought a Wacom Bamboo One. This shall improve some skills, but the touch is definitely weirder than drawing with a truc pen or pencil. Should have I bought an A4 model instead? I frakin' don't know and am sure it's better like this, as I just avec own a 17" monitor. Please check the Brussels Street galery too.
Other stuff? Yeah! I discovered a couple of weeks ago Bibio and its mid-Prefuse-73, mid-60s-trippy-hippy-pop songs and orchestrations. Trust me, it IS such a pure pleasure to listen to the album Ambivalence Avenue from Bibio.
Oh, yes, I also have something huge for you, half-BV3-fans. Yes, indeed, Bran Van 3000. Nothing new, ok, just keep cool. I 'just' discovered the canadian version of the first BV3 'Glee' release, issued in 1998. Intro song upped to 5'30", reorchestrations, reingineering of existing songs, totally newworks! A bloody must have por whom who already know Glee by heart.
Hey, other guys & girls: just enjoy yourselves listening to 'Glee', an all-time pop hip-hop classic. Then, around december, find that canadian version and.. re-fall in love.
Have fun, all! Don't get stuck with useless stuff but keep on listen to the wise (they may not be as old as expected).
Take careand don't forget your brain.
