Hello okiir not sure if your still active but I was browsing the comments on this post after looking for info on Desmonds bloodline and noticed you haven't replied or updated since 2013 and I assume that's because you got tired of all the people telling you that some people should be on his father's side and I noticed that's its no error on your part from what I can tell your information was prior to the release of black flag and I don't know much about the first 3 games but I assume that the info in those games alludes to all Desmonds assasin heritage came from his mother but then black flag corrected that and as your were planning to update for some reason you decided not. so I was wondering if you'd ever revisit this or not due to all the new info presented in later games 🤔

Just for some of those who are confused, Altair's bloodline and Ezio's bloodline are completely separate until one point in the tree, but Altair and Ezio during their lives and deaths were never related by blood. What made Desmond so special is Altair's bloodline was on his mother's side and the Kenway and Auditore bloodline is on his father's. And no, Bayek and Alexios are not at all related to the family tree, or at least Bayek likely isn't.

Now I'm wondering where Alexios fits in this
somewere was told, that ezio's line and altair line is meet in desmond. one ot them from side of his mother, second from his father. but i don't remember where i read this

I never understood why Connor is referred to by most fans as a Kenway. Haytham didn't marry Kaniehti:io did he? Or did i miss that scene??? If he didn't then Connor was born out of wedlock and is a bastard.

Connor referred to Haytham as "father". Never once did he refer to Haythem by his name. And when Achilles reminded him of who was on his hit list he told Connor "...even your father".

He does, three at least in the comic

he obviously did otherwise desmond probably wouldn't exist

People have already stated that the Kenway line is the father's side but they did the games out of order for the particular reason that Edward isn't the blood carrier from Altair's bloodline, it was the woman he married. The more you know. <3

Edward Kenway's parents and sister are stated in this article…
His sister's birth and death dates aren't listed though.
So glad to see a timeline for all of them!  Any idea when the new assassin's creed games will be added?  (Syndicate is one, I think they had Unity and some others, unless you have them already.  I've only played Ezio's trilogy, 3 and 4 so I don't know the names used in the other games)

Hi! if you're interested in the family tree from the other assassin's creed games, such as Syndicate, Unity, etc., all under one roof, you can visit my work:…

I consider the family tree that I did a comprehensive one (COMPLETE) as of 11/11/2016, and also I promise you every character in the family tree that I created are ALL canon in the Assassin's Creed universe. :D

Wow what a big family(?)

the only mistake is, that the Kenway line is the line of Desmond's father not of his mother.

That's actually not true. The said in one of the games, in Revelations ir maybe the 3rd, that Desmond genes came from his mother.

What do you mean? What made Desmond so special is that the Ib'n L'Ahiad (Altair) line came from his mother's side, and the Kenway and Auditore line is on his father's. This is shown in AC: III when Desmond yells at his father that Connor and Haytham are his ancestors as well as his own.

AgentNightmare's avatar
Is this supposed to be the updated one or is that located somewhere else?  Because this is incorrect.  In AC3, Desmond tells his father that Haytham is his ancestor too, so Edward, Haytham, and Ratonhnhaketon are supposed to be on William Miles' side of the family tree.
