Dyno walked down through the streets of Cyberlight, the sun long disappeared over the horizon as the hustle and bustle of the city went home to be replaced with the seedy and sinister dealings, usually kept to back alleys now given free reign of the streets. There’s of course a reason people scatter from the streets as the darkness descends, muggings, unsavoury characters looking for not such a great time, the ongoing series of disappearances as imps are spirited away in the night never to be seen again. Nevertheless, Dyno continues on his way, unphased by the many dangers around him, whether because of his general attitude and rough personality, or because he knows very few people would risk fucking with an Oni. Even then a few reckless or overconfident individuals came to test and mad-dog Dyno before quickly scampering away as he sparked a flame in his hand, the crackling and popping threatening further detonation if they pushed him further. “Yeah you better run you bastards!!” he

Autumn woke up, the last day of summer before the turn of the season, the beginning of her namesake was approaching, as was her birthday. The morning light stretched out across the bedroom highlighting the dust in the air as it danced around above her to the tune of Glimmer’s soft snore-purring as she lay beside Autumn. Glimmer had been up late the previous night working on a special gift for Autumn’s birthday tomorrow, so she deserved a rest, Autumn thought, as she slowly crept out of bed. After getting changed Autumn headed downstairs to the café floor to get set up for the day ahead, no rest for the wicked after all. At least not until tomorrow, it was a special day after all. Work went as well as it usually did, Autumn always enjoys her job and interacting with everyone. Today was a little busier as imps from across Avalon and the neighbouring mainland rushed to enjoy the last bit of summer, but Autumn loved every moment.
