During my latest and 5th visit to Kyoto, Japan I finally had a chance to see the view from the top of Kyoto tower.
Until now I have seen it as simply a tower and that sort of never really has been to interesting to me.
But I was very wrong.
The entire view of the city is quite impressive.
This is simply a photo of the view northward along Karasuma dori.

Oh gosh, this makes me so nostalgic...I was fortunate enough to study abroad in Kyoto for a semester (see the enormous folder of Japan photos)...and I remember some of those buildings/streets...
