No, not as in the Naruto character, i just couldn't find a more appropriate name since "Hinata" As a literal translation either means "Sunny place" Or "Towards the sun" or in an unofficial way "Sunflower"

an appropriate name for a gargoyle, especially one that's a Ninja, yes a Ninja

yes she's a Japanese gargoyle like the ones in the Ishimura clan, but she's not of the Ishimura clan. Some centuries ago, before she was born; she had her own clan of Ninja Gargoyles that aided the Ishimura clan with tasks that risked breaking the code of Bushido

Since Ninja have their own form of honor, and don't really follow Bushido like Samurai do, they could bend the rules without breaking them and risking dishonor to the lords they served, as well as warriors of said lords.

When she was born, or specifically Hatched it was many centuries Later in the 90s.  Hinata sadly is the last Ninja Gargoyle alive, because her clan lived Separately from the Ishimura clan, they didn't have as many human protectors to watch them during the day.

the destruction of her clan was an act caused by teen vandals playing around with weapons they stole from a Xanatos Enterprises Ship. they kept it up till Nightfall when Hinata awakened, and found every one of her brothers and sister slaughtered, even her parents were destroyed by these human Teenagers.

She captured them and summoned the gargoyles of the Ishimura clan to see what they had done, and they were brought to Justice, tried for murder in the first degree no less, on top of theft and vandalism and sentenced to life in prison.

Kai, the leader of the Ishimura clan offered Hinata a home in Ishimura where she'd be protected from other such horrors, but refused, tradition demanded Ninja stay seperate from Samurai, and the sting of humans slaughtering her clan still burned within her, so she left Japan in favor of travelling the world to see if there were any other Gargoyle clans she could aid and keep from meeting her same fate.

unfortunately like Goliath and his clan, she found that the world over had a severe lack of Gargoyle Clans, and if there were any, they were very small in Number, Her travels eventually brought her to New York where she would meet and Befriend Goliath's clan alongside the Atlantean clan and Genevieve of the Eiffel clan

Her skills include a mastery of martial Arts, stealth, Espionage, assassination skills (Though she rarely ever uses them as Gargoyles don't really have a pension for killing) and all manner of weapons.  Her favorite being the iron Claws on her left hand ((And yes, i did model it after Goraishi from Inuyasha))

She's also a skilled Painter, Cook, has a fondness for music and reading as well as gaming, had accumulated a large amount of wealth in her work as a Ninja as well as what was inherited and saved from Centuries of her clan's life.

She hopes to draw the attention of Brooklyn, whom she found to be quite Charming.......

But that's another story

I decided to try a design for what i Call "Beak-faced" Gargoyles since i usually do the "Human Faced" ones, afterall not all gargoyles have a human-like face, some of the human-faced gargoyles we've seen don't even look relatively human to speak of as we perceive "Human-looking" anyway.

She also knows what i like to call "Trick Magic" -- No not guess your card, rabbit out of the hat, Flowers up the sleeve, Saw a woman in half; that's Stage Magic.  "Trick Magic" Is what you hear about Kitsune, or Foxes in Japanese folklore using to escape, as well as Tanuki, Kappa and others, she can disappear in a puff of smoke, create illusions that feel real to the ones she tricks, as well as Glamour people, which is a fancy way of saying "Hypnotize" people into Forgetting she was there, or to tell them things they normally wouldn't be willing to say

Please be gentle, she's the first new gargoyle i've made in a while since my Atlantean clan of Gargoyles
