Bad sheep

Coming to the end of the month and haven't done an art piece... -Brought out another Zoot screenshot and did a copy/ study of it. Dawn in this pose touched a lot of things I was interested in... -intense (coloured) lighting and shading. I also wanted to try some thicker/ more intense lines... -A lot of my art style development and use of water colours began as I wanted to preserve/ make visible my line art. I thought a wooly character would be a great fit for that, and I think it was... Just not to the level I expected.

And yup, trying to figure out wool was somewhat of a challenge, but I brute forced through it. -On coming out, seeing the thumbnail and realising 'holy crap, that could be a direct film clip' I think I was able to convince myself I did a good job haha.

My drawing tablet makes colours much more intense, though as I had my study reference in the corner the colours came out the same as the original... However I feel I do tend more towards the intenser colours, so as is becoming a habit I run the final pic through a hue correction, ending up with the second piece in this set.

First is the movie as we know it, second is where she threw Nick and Judy into the realistic volcano exhibit. Either way, liking how it turned out.
