I actually finished this image last month to coincide with the 12-13 set of pages that reveal their names/abilities being released on Inkblazers, but I'm only now able to post it here on dA. Drove me nuts! I think this may be the best cover to date. Vesta on the left, with her power of fire, and Maris on the right, with her power of water. Two best buds with opposite abilities. I tend to draw these two together a lot, heh.

I like how Maris turned out, but Vesta gave me some problems. I always want to draw her head a little big XD

The elements were more fun to draw than I thought. I thought they would look terrible but I played around with a lot of things and I think the water turned out really interesting looking. I think I'm going to make a poster of this... despite its flaws, I think overall it works pretty well and I think the colors turned out really nice, which is odd because I didn't really do anything different from what I usually do, haha.
