I'm a few days late because even though I HAD a buffer, I saw last week that the two pages were redundant, looked like crap, and were an odd number instead of even so I'd have a blank page in the books I'd have to deal with. Wasted space!! So I literally tore them up so I wouldn't be tempted to post them and crunched it into one page, because I guess I just really wanted to reference Back To The Future in my comic. Of course, I'll have to change the Japanese to something less Doc Brown-ish because that joke won't fly
(won't... Marty McFly? *smack*)I really need to work on effects. Since this Friday is another single page, I'm spending a lot of time this week copying pages out of manga with action scenes I like to try to get a feel for drawing action scenes. It's just a warm-up before the real thing... and I will need to draw more action scenes in this other project I'm currently thumbnailing! What is it what is it? It is... A SECRET. It's not FaLLEN, I'll say that much.
Stay tuned for the next chapter, where SHIT GOES DOWN. Guardian transformations, new monsters, some BACKGROUNDS, and someone's going to get herself a name ;D Well, I'M excited, at least.

Long Comment is Long. Rather than have a buncha sporradic comments, I'll just comment at the end of each chapter so you don't hafta go replying to and reading different things? (well it's easier for me anyways XD)
You were in LA? Coolness, I live there... here... whatever XD. It's actually kinda cool that you were so close yet so far away... boo hoo XD.
Ahh, in pages 4-5 if it makes you feel any better about the "terrible inking" ...even after you said that, I couldn't notice anything wrong with it. Does that mean you did a fine job cleaning it up? Or that I'm -that- noobish to not see it... T_T.
You mentioned needing to make a new reference sheet for freckle girl... I haven't looked through your whole gallery but do you have any of them up? Reference sheets I mean. I ask since, I always like looking at them and what artists consider "important" aspects to get right on characters and how they go about it. I think my "reference sheets" are pretty... idk... could be better?

"What works in a novel doesn't always work in a comic." Well since you've done both, and pardon if the question seems silly, but which do you prefer out of the two? Personally making the comic seems more fun but also much harder and tedious work, and while the novel might -seem- easier to some since there's less drawing to do, it also means you have to be able to describe elequently what's going on w/o pictures to give readers the proper image. Seems tough either way overall.

Oh hey, apparently pages 14-15 are missing. It gives me the "torn paper" icon thingy. T_T. (but sometimes it does show up, I went back later and it was fine. Don't get why that one's acting weird)
*looks at hair* yes. That must have taken you forever. It's indeed very nice.
Also your remark: "I think comic artists especially tend to learn from other artists more than from drawing from life" ...dude. I wanna quote you on that one so bad. I never heard an actually SKILLED artist like yourself say something like that... heck, few people do. Even critics who pretend to be artists say stuff like "yea you gotta draw from life" and some other stuff. Of course I'm not putting that down but, dude, I SO agree. As much as I'd love to just be a recluse, it seems a lot of good ideas (and bad ones, XD) come from other ppl around me, especially the artists. I don't think you could be more right in your mentality even though, yes, drawing from life isn't "useless" ... but it can only take you so far. Even if you "master" anatomy and such... then what? For stories like this, you still need that thing called "imagination". No amount of skill can replace that and/or the emotions that go into each and every page. That comment on that one seriously touched me *bows* thank you.
*booby girl will be renamed snarky girl* But yes you seem to have a lot of great facials with her. She's my favorite so far... and lol "Bitchy girl". I guess that works too XD. Pwnt by a mouse.
Ahh and I would probably go with Vox, especially if I was Arma, out of all of them. I mean, the power to beat the crap out of rabid monster with a sword? I don't need to know/not know who I am... if this guy helped me get my powers, then what choice do I really have? He has the answers, even if he's tricking me to actually do something "evil". And he's right: What other option would I have if I have -nothing- else, literally. Doing something is better than doing nothing. Still, idk if I could be so calm about it in that literal situation. It's scary no matter how you think about it... and not cuz a mouse is talking to them... err... me... err yea.

and yea my sleeping schedule is utter hell too... maybe it's an artist thing?

Yea for some reason, Vox is giving me a feel of Kyubey from Madoka Magica and Philemon from the Persona series. A good thing, since I love both of those. But yea, again, the doc thing was just... lawl.
So yea finally done and read chapter 3. I'm really sorry I lagged it so much in continuing. I really am enjoying this, as I may have mentioned before, the way it builds up makes you wanna read more to find out "what the HELL is going on???". Neat stuff.
So yea, I'll get to chapter 4 eventually. Thanks for sharing with us, as always ^w^.
