FaLLEN Calendar 2015 - September

Today is when I am supposed to post a new page of FaLLEN, but guess what? I have had my yearly Cold From Hell since Sunday. I only get sick once a year, usually, and when I do it's this 7-8 day stretch of misery where I am a fountain of mucus and coughing and my head throbs when I move, so I have not left my house since Sunday and I have mostly just remained on the floor next to a pile of tissues. So the new chapter will start next week, instead. I was so pumped to start the new chapter on time, and of course this happened. 

So instead, I am posting this here, and on my website I am going to be adding a bunch of fan art to the galleries later today. This is the September calendar image from the FaLLEN calendar and it features Arma at the gym. I can no longer remember what sources I used for the background, but if you recognize something let me know so I can cite them.

It was fun to draw Arma's muscles out of her Guardian uniform. I think this image was one of my favorites from the calendar, since Arma is different from the other women I tend to draw. I wanted to do a sexy shot of Arma, but one that was not out of character for her and sexy in her own way, which is that more muscular build and more masculine appearance she has. And of course she wouldn't pose on purpose, so I like to think someone with a camera caught her off guard in between beat-downs on that photo of Lamia she taped to her sandbag, haha.
