PAT is having its first animation contest and it's gonna be a 3 round series. WEAPON TRIALS is focused on training you on animating different types of weapons. You will be given a weapon of our choice on each round, focusing on an aspect of animation.

GENERAL RULES
1. Your animation needs to have a minimum length of 10 seconds and it should be no longer than 20 seconds. That includes only the actual animation with movements. Intros and Outros does not count.
2. You will be given 2-3 weeks to complete the animation as we want each round to be ran monthly. A period of one week shall be utilized for the judging process, the presentation of scores and it shall also be used to prepare for the next round.
3. Only entries made on PC are legible to join. That means the ones that are made on mobile are not allowed. This is to keep things consistent.
4. Exclusive to PHILIPPINE residents.

SCORING SYSTEM
Your entry will be judged and scored out of 100. All entrants will be ranked each round depending on your total score.
Your ranking in each round shall be averaged and the entrant who'll possess the least amount by the end of all 5 rounds will be declared as the winner.
For example: An entrant placed 1, 5, 9, 3, 4 on each of the 5 rounds. That averages to 4.4 which would be their final standing.

1st place: 1500 PHP
2nd place: 700 PHP
3rd place: 300 PHP
And we POTENTIALLY might add prizes for 4th and 5th place if enough people join.
4th Place: 200 PHP
5th Place: 100 PHP

SUBMITTING YOUR ENTRY
To enter, you must submit by directly messaging me or Reb with an swf or mp4 file.
All your entries will be compiled by us and released on PAT's YT Channel.

GENERAL RULES

This group is free for everyone to join but if you have no plans on contributing or submitting works then it'd be best if you just add the group to your watchlist.

I encourage everyone to be open for comments and critiques on their works as this will really help you improve on your craft. Don't take it as a personal attack or an insult, we ensure you that all works will only get constructive criticisms and not the hateful ones.

We do not tolerate plagiarism or claiming other people's works especially the ones that came from the resource folder. Keep in mind that this crime will not go unpunished if we ever caught you doing such thing.

And most of all, have fun!
Being an artist means hardwork and stress but don't forget to give out some room for fun. Your works tend to come out better if you're enjoying yourself.

Like the name implies, the classic stick figure animations filled with action-packed goodness that you used to love are submitted here.

FULLBODY ANIMATIONS

What differentiates this section from the stick animations is that this one features completely drawn bodies of characters, in short, character animations. Be it tween based puppet rigs or frame by frame animations like sakuga.

3D MODELS AND ANIMATIONS

Works that were made from 3D softwares like Autodesk 3ds max, Autodesk Maya, Cinema 4D, Blender, ZBrush, Fusion 360, etc.

RESOURCES

When you're feeling a bit helpful and generous, you upload resources that might help other artists to improve, study and use for their works. But keep in mind that we prohibit stealing of people's works. These are free to download but only if you agree to the artists' terms like giving them credit or use it for learning purpose or reference only and not claim it as yours.
