Weight: 1300 lb
-Coat exhibits the famous Teke iridescence. Appears blue-black under bright sunlight, white parts may appear slightly pearlescent in sunset hours. Hairs are short, sparse and extremely thin, producing a feeling of a smooth seal-like pelt common among Capaill Uisce. Skin has little to no flexibility and splits easily, feels like un-elastic acrylic.
-Sections of skinless, bone-like growths on his shoulders, his first seven or so ribs, the crests of his hips, and front knees. Several sections of skinless ligament and white muscle on his neck. Can be seen flexing with his muscles. All-white face is a mix of bone, cartilage and ligaments, with the cartilage mainly being on his cheeks and around his mouth, ligaments connecting his jaws, and the bone being the point on his nose and above his eyes. Coated in a strange natural material that makes them nearly as hard as solid chromium; in water, the white parts gain a silver sheen that resembles metal.
- The hooded eyes of a Teke, surrounded by black skin, large almond-shaped slanted yellow snake eyes, and a wide mouth that can split all the way back to the base of his skull.
-72 shark teeth, and two long incisors for lacerating on upper jaw, two smaller canines on lower jaw, several fangs in front of mouth. Black tongue and mouth flesh, indented black nicks in edges of mouth for teeth to rest over like a crocodile, mouth is mostly lipless. Any white facial skin is hard and rigid. Ears are less like ears and more like horns.
-Legs longer than standard proper confirmation for a Teke, due to Nightmare and Capaill Uisce heritage. Long, flexible neck, large withers and upward-sloping back. Deep chest of mature stallion, very angular musculature, swanlike neck.
-Peak physical condition, ‘dry’ and lean appearance, 4.5 on the HBCSS (Henekke Body Conditioning Scoring System.) Rib and hip growths make him appear more underweight than he is.
-Can reach up to 58 mph at top speed. Up to 70 in water.

Personality: Griev is somewhat cold and not incredibly friendly to outsiders, but alarmingly family-oriented and loving to his friends and family nonetheless. Powerful and domineering, also quite temperamental, dislikes when things don't go his or the staff’s way. He is well aware of his status as the King of ODFS and an unofficial staff member and makes it his job to keep an eye on the residents of ODFS, particularly demons who need to be kept in line. Easily annoyed by other horses or people who have no respect for their peers or superiors. Selfishness, self-absorption and rudeness don't sit well with him as a general rule. If you are polite and friendly, he will afford you the same politeness. Intimidating, reserved and well aware of his fearsome appearance. Treats mares and stallion alike with equal respect, strict, demands good behavior from all his foals. Fearless, extremely defensive and aggressive when his family is threatened. Exudes alpha male qualities in abundance. Has no issue with other stallions as long as they don't directly insult him, challenge him or break his rules. Will not hesitate to kill to protect someone he cares about. Child-friendly in spades, adores children and foals. Bit of a lady’s man. Spends most of his time nowadays smooching his 'wife' Raven and badgering her with kisses. We only know his paternal grandmother because she's appeared on the shores and he has told us about her. She is the first Harlequine Capaill-Uisce ever seen.

Habits:

Patrols ODFS regularly, keeps horses and people alike in line. Enjoys running along the seashore, swimming, and playing with magic. Spends a lot of his time on the cliffs near the forests. Keeps the demons in line. Enjoys hunting for his own food and swimming. Doesn't sleep much, enjoys being awake at night. Does need to sleep occasionally. He cannot climb trees, though when he was little it was a lifelong goal of his. (He HAS successfully made it up a tree, but we don't encourage this.) Likes to cuddle with Raven and their babs. Even the ‘three’ big ones. Has adopted Selene as his own daughter and refuses to treat her any different from Gren and Malik.

Eating habits and favorite treats:

Eats raw meat, can graze on grass and eat standard horse food but prefers to hunt for himself. Prefers food raw and freshly killed, refuses to eat anything canned (like tuna or dog food) though he has become quite fond of Aegis's sirloin and pork roast. At parties it's always good sport to toss him the hamburgers--buns, cheese, tomatoes, ketchup, pickles and all--as he likes catching them. He is not averse to hot dogs either. Favorite food is rabbit, lamb, veal and occasionally venison, has been told a few times not to chase the local sheep. A big fan of lemons, maple syrup, and vanilla ice cream (separate, not all together).

Powers: Ability to summon darkness and ocean-based storms in large or small degrees, create ice-cold black flames,utilize ice-based magic, and go a very long time without breathing. Moves at incredible speeds, like all Capaill Uisce, and is immensely strong. His skin takes on a rubbery quality when wet that can make it difficult to hold on to him or land a blow; when fully submerged in salt water, his mane disappears, his gills open, and his hooves become webbed, though his body cannot elongate to the full length of a Capaill Uisce in the water. Scales are obvious on his neck and shoulders immediately upon surfacing from submersion in the sea but fade within minutes. His teeth can bite through a hollow bar of steel, he can easily push over a small car, break down a stall door, or crash through a fence, though not necessarily unscathed.

He has control of ice and water far more than fire, but found a way to make some of his ice-based magic manifest as freezing-cold black fire, which means he can light himself on fire whenever he pleases, and he has a bad habit of doing so often. He is also able to communicate with human beings through telepathy (speaks a rather formal version of English) on very rare occasions if emotionally charged enough to invade someone’s mind and communicate with them. Mainly prefers to communicate by projecting emotions, images and vague ideas at people in physical contact with him, leaving the people to interpret his meaning and trusting his close friends to understand. He can sense when someone he has a strong bond with is in danger, or if his children are in danger. He trails shadowy smoke behind him. When angry and invoking his Nightmare magic, the ground beneath his feet sours, withers and dies where he walks, the air turns cold, and all is coated in the frosted chill of death.
