Hello Everyone! Hope you all have been doing well, I wanted to make an announcement to say that I will be going on an indefinite hiatus. I honestly still feel pretty burnt out and tired even after the 2 week break so that may explain the lack of art this past month. Overall I’ve just been having less time and been pretty busy and stressed alot this year so I’ve had less energy to draw, especially to experiment and go further out of my comfort zone and I think the pressure I have put on myself to post regularly has really caught up to me as well. I’m gonna use this time to practice and experiment more, I want to be able to feel more confident about what I draw, since I feel like I have the tendency to be too comfortable and feel scared to try new things because they might look weird at first and to figure out a schedule that works better for me (since the current one may not be working as well but we will see). At the moment I don’t know how long this break will be, maybe a week, a month, maybe two months but I will be posting again when I feel ready to and will definitely be posting next year. Drawing has being such a comfort to me for all these years and I don’t want to give something up that brings me so much joy. I know art block will always come back to bite again but I think I will be a bit more ready/prepared than I was previously. I hope to see you all again and happy holidays!
