My Bio
Hello. My name is Audrey but I go by Odd.
I am a professional sculptor. I create hand built original clay sculptures and sell them under the title Odd Art. I've been doing so for a number of years now. I sell them locally at art shows. I also create things on commission. Have something you want made? Contact me and we will negotiate a price based on how big and how detailed. All of my clay work is hand built. This means it's not done with any type of mold and none of it is created on a wheel.

I'm a hobbyist photographer. I've been taking pictures for years. I've been hired for a few weddings and band gigs. I am just starting to show some of my photography as well. I never set out to be a professional photographer. All the pictures I take are usually for me. Since I have them though, I figured I would show the better ones. I don't have any fancy photo editing software so what you see is what I took, except cropped. I use both a digital camera and a manual camera though I'm doing more digital now. My manual camera is a Canon AE1. My former digital was a Nikon D60 but now I use a Nikon 5100.

I am a writer and am currently looking for an agent for my novel "The Court of Miracles". I am currently writing a first draft of a new book as well. To find out more about the book check out my website www.theaudreywright.com

I also do some stop motion animation and will be working on a project making videos for a reading program this summer. I can't post the videos due to not owning the copyright but I will be posting some stills. As soon as I get to work on movies for myself I will post those.

Besides that I'm married and have a really adorable child. I have a lovely job that takes up a lot of time. I sing. I play a variety of instruments. Woot.

So once a month, on the 2nd Friday of each month, Mesa has an art walk. However, their art walk is different from other ones you might have seen. Each month has a theme and this month it's Science Fiction. They are having a Steampunk Street and they are having a Zombie Walk. As a former Miss Pathogenic of the Zombie Beauty Pageant this is extremely exciting to me. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I GET TO SELL MY ART THE EVENT!!! I have two weeks to get everything together. This won't be easy because it's a busy month with my job but I am so looking forward to this event. It has steampunk and zombies. I love both!
