Mew's convoluted as fuck process of shading
Mew's convoluted McChicken nugget way to shade and highlight horribly that is a mishmashed of other shades from people
i expect u guys have a flat colored ready or those balls with shitty lineart so
Shade:
The main shade that I usually dont do on skin
Do the base shade, its ur choice to shade it sharp or not, the color is pure black and the layer effect is overlay (which is prob a shit tactic but it looks cool)
(also put the opacity at the middle so you know where to shade)
(optional route: you can shade the skin in this step if the character has an abnormal skin color, or just skin, which may needs coloring mixing after this
(NOTE: overlay effect doesnt work on primary colors, u might as well just fill that spot with a darker color and probably mutiply effect)
2. Select the base shade and pick a darker thing to do the outer shading that you should see on the outer side of the base, that's really it for the basics,
