We cannot forget their role in our fight

The Cherokee Braves were a Native American riflemen division in the Confederate Army during the American Civil War. These Natives agreed upon the Confederate leaders to gain freedom from the invasion of the military in clearing land for housing and farming for the American people in return for the natives to defend their land and fight along side the Confederate soldiers against the advancing Union forcing from the northern states.
