Heeey buddies, I'm back from a month-long trip visiting and helping out family members, which mainly included babysitting my perfect 2-year-old nephew! So that's why there was no art for the last 20~ish days
But I'm back and dying to paint!
With this piece I really wanted to challenge myself with fewer colors and a more cartoony approach to the design, using the whites of the paper as it's border - It was harder than I though it'd be. To balance out the design, I ended up shoving three ladybugs in the corner.
But I'm still happy with it; my new watercolors are beautiful and delight to paint with!
The colors I used were; Winsor yellow, raw sienna, Winsor blue (red shade), and permanent alizarin crimson.
Oh, and the story: a lady fox detective is out solving crimes in a post-apocalyptic world where all humans were wiped out.
