Defenders Of Earth - Doublius

For Doublius, I wanted to go with a design that departs from his original design used in Kenichiro Terasawa's Gamera manga, since I felt that the original design was a bit too similar to W. I went with a more insectoid design, since Doublius has physical traits of insects. For the head, I referenced Megaguirus. For the body, I referenced Centiskorch. For the legs, claws and arms, I referenced Razin's design from Godzilla Neo. I decided to have Doublius' two heads be located at the tip of his tail to differentiate him from W, while drawing inspiration from the Marvel character Doctor Octopus, Destoroyah, and Mecha Knight+ from Kirby Planet Robobot, as well as scorpions. The eye pattern on the claws are inspired by Scizor.

His roars will be Megaguirus mixed with some of Destoroyah's roars.

Bio
In 1994, recent reports of a green two-headed monster called Doublius attacking Nagoya have broadcast all over Japan. The JSDF attempted to fight the creature, but were no match for it, and Doublius left a wrecked city behind as he burrowed again, this time to Yokohama. Luckily for the JSDF, Gamera managed to arrive just in time to confront the mysterious monster, as he fired his Plasma Fireballs at the monster's heads, quickly defeating it. As Gamera roared in triumph, two huge pincers suddenly came out from behind the building where Doublius has been standing behind. Then, to Gamera's surprise, it turned out Doublius is actually a colossal centipede-like kaiju; the apparent "heads" of the monster are actually a set of claw tails.

Doublius then proceeded to leap from the building, and high up into the air as he pounced on Gamera as he used his claw tails to pin Gamera to the ground. Doublius then attempted to slit Gamera in the throat, only for Marukobukarappa to suddenly show up and knock Doublius off his feet. Gamera then quickly killed Doublius by beheading him with a Plasma Fireball.

Later, Doublius' corpse was retrieved by the JSDF for study. As the team of scientists working for them carefully examined Doublius' DNA, they discovered that Doublius' DNA structure contained traces of Gyaos cells. What was going on?!


Abilities
- Physical abilities
Doublius is an extremely brutal combatant who attacks his opponents relentlessly. His head can be put to use as a battering ram or bludgeoning weapon. Doublius can utilize his claws for grasping objects, and also sports yet more enhanced strength, being able to grab and throw large objects with ease.
- Rush Punch
Doublius' tail claws deliver a rapid series of punches, finishing with a punch into the ground or a nearby building.
- Agility
Doublius is a very fast and agile opponent, as he can run up to speeds of 300 to 500 miles per hour. He uses this ability to outrun several attacks from numerous JSDF vehicles.
- Burrowing
- Stinger Tail Tongues
The heads on Doublius' tails have tongue-like stingers inside their mouths. These stingers can inject toxins into the opponent, with the effect of the toxin being paralysis.
