Okay, kids, it's time for some real rules! For the most part, these rules are based on our Founder spikethehound's original rules for the group, this time cleared up for easy understanding.
All submissions need to feature an OC
This means a character you made up entirely by yourself. Gender-swapping/renaming official ponies doesn't count, fusing official characters doesn't count, turning real people or characters from other franchises into ponies doesn't count.
Nothing under a mature filter
No excuses, no exceptions.
No drugs or alcohol
This means no drunk pony jokes, no marijuana ponies, and so on. Yes, cigarettes are also banned under this rule.
No blood, guts, and gore
Scars, bruises and bandages are fine.
Since My Little Pony sees a fair share of action in the show, it wouldn't be fair to ban it from the group entirely. But there's a big difference between a pony getting kicked and a pony getting shot!
You are allowed to show ponies holding any sort of weapon you like if it is not shown being used.
No sexy/fetish art
My Little Pony is a kid-friendly franchise. Let's try to keep this group kid-friendly, too. Shipping is okay. Ponies making out, wearing lingerie, or humping each other is not.
But feel free to sub in some awful horse puns instead.
We have a longer journal featuring our stance on art theft here. The only folder we'll really be enforcing this on is the lineart and bases folder - as you can tell by the folder name - but we will respond to claims by original artists or anyone who thinks a group member is deliberately causing trouble.
Quality control will only be applied to the Featured and Lineart folders.
Quality control on the Lineart folder will just be to make sure that the linearts and bases can be colored easily as they are.
Quality control on the Featured folder includes
No lined, graph, or crumpled paper
Photos should be fairly clear - not too blurry or too pixelated
Digital art should not have visible pixels between colors and lines
If you have a problem with another member of this group, that's between you and them. You can contact the group mods privately about it, but do not post about it on our page or journals!
