Virus looked around the hotel. He initially wasn't for this plan, especially seeing how the last time Vox attempted to send a spy went- a dumpster fire as per usual. He had been so adamant that he was not going to play bait. He may not be an overlord, but he was most certainly a step above those underlings and employees his 'mentors' kept on leashes. He shook his head to clear his thoughts. Maybe he had been a tad hard on Vox. Perhaps it really wasn't his fault that it went up in flames the first time, perhaps Pentious really less capable than he seemed because this was a walk in the park. Despite Vaggie's obvious disdain for his being here, Charlie seemed thrilled, and it was quite clear to Virus who called the shots in the relationship, a funny thought to him as one would surely think it was Vaggie given Charlie's personality, but, maybe just like everything else in Hell, it was all about the hierarchy of power. Regardless, that wasn't any of Virus's concern. It actually worked in

Cherubs were first created to give the angels some kind of idea of the Almighty's love for humanity. Just as the humans are like God's children, so are the cherubs for the angels. Because of this, cherubs are sacred, while angels are more highly regarded and have more power, cherubs are seen as the Lord's gifts to each individual angel. To have a cherub placed in your care is a high honor. There's often an added reason for a cherub to be given to their angel (i.e. Rahab being given to Rugio to teach him emotional intelligence or Zion being given to Gabriel so he wouldn't be alone (an item stressed more heavily in the Supernatural version)). Each pair is made to compliment each other, the cherubs are an expansion of their angelic caretaker. While many will have at least one physical characteristic from their caretaker (some have more and others do have none) most of their similarities come from their personalities. While each cherub is individually unique, there are three main categories they can fall into, most often their categories match up with their caretaker's, but there are exceptions just as there is for all things (i.e. fitting into two categories like Hadriel). In each category, there are certain characteristics that one can expect out of them. Warrior cherubs: Energetic, physical, very fascinated in war/battle/weapons/etc., extremely loyal to their caretakers, will often grow into leaders given the proper care and guidance, ambitious, very eager, love to please and have praise from their caretaker Wisdom cherubs: Intelligent, curious, inquisitive, fast learners, often love to learn new things, often can be described as 'tiny scholars' though they have a naive and childish understanding of things when they're young Worship cherubs: Creative, emotional, quiet but demanding, also very loyal but they're not as independent as warrior angels, easily fascinated, artistic All cherubs have what's called a 'sweet spot' which is a usually childish habit or preference carried from childhood to adulthood that can almost immediately comfort or calm them down. This subject will be dived deeper into in a future lore post accompanied with a list of each cherub's sweet spot. It's in the cherub's biological nature to want and need to be close to their caretaker and trust them wholeheartedly with their care. For better or for worse. This means even if their angelic caretaker is the reason they are crying, the cherub will still have a natural and instinctive pull to run to their caretaker for care and comfort. Cherubs are also extremely in tune with their caretaker's needs and emotions and its not uncommon for the cherub to spare their caretaker's emotions instead of their own. This comes from the Lord instilling a similar care he has for the angels and humanity in each cherub, a selflessness for who they care for most. It is the angel's duty to teach their cherubs what they deem appropriate or not. Not only in behaviors but beliefs, when paired with the fact that they will often have similar personalities, as mentioned above, they often will hold the same beliefs (i.e. fallen cherubs viewing Lucifer as the highest above them whereas holy cherubs will have immense respect and love for the Lord, or (in a much more minor example) Rahab believing crying makes him weak, Pascal looking down on others around him like Pellecus, Saint having a great understanding of things happening a certain way because 'they must').
