Jumbie Gets A VoiceWe never have any specific plan for any of our projects. With Celflux, The God of The Wilderness and now Jumbie we approach each as a journey. We take that leap, get it started and see where it leads. We enjoy the events on one journey while we wait for the next stage of others. Today the Jumbie journey has lead us to this awesome bit of news.We are happy to announce that Jumbie has its first sponsor. A kind and supportive individual who shall remain anonymous saw the project and without hesitation asked how they could help. Their exact words were."I would really be delighted to help you guys - Trinidad needs more people like you doing authentically creative work. I'm truly delighted to be a part of your journey."This is a HUGE encouragement for us. That someone would see the value in what we're doing and so quickly want to be a part of it. This sponsorship leads us to our second bit of news. Jumbie has a voice. Ariana Maria Herbert will be the voice of Jumbie!,We first met Ariana about three years ago when she invited us to be a part of a local event. She has been following our projects and encouraging us ever since.Ariana is a lifelong lover of storytelling. Growing up in Trinidad, she spent most of her time watching cartoons with her father and exploring libraries. Her recent years have seen her be a Poet, Arts Coordinator and always - a Parrandera. Usually found on an adventure, these days her latest one is in stop motion animation at Starryverse Studio Animation. We held no auditions for this role as the passion Ariana has for local literature and folklore makes her perfect for the part. We are really lucky to have her on board. So that's about it. We'll continue to share updates as the project develops. If you want to see more of Jumbie. Like, Comment, Share. Thanks for the continued support. Forward movements. #Photoshop #aftereffects #ttjumbie #animation #animation2d #animationvideo #voiceover #voiceactor #anime #animatedtvandmovies #comics #illustration #trinidadandtobago #trini #trinbago
