I don't think many people remember that you can leave comments on a gallery. And I'm sure an exception can be made for you even if it were something important. You're already a positive if not the most positive force behind the comment sections whenever I see them.
Let's take the thunder away from the comic for a moment to thank YOU!
Awww, thanks a lot!! Making comics is exhaustive and I can't help but admire that you have written more than 400 pages of it!
The humour factor hasn't dried out in all these years either; it continues to age like good wine! (that bit in which Cid smoked the flower that Aerith gifted him is still one of my favorite subtle jokes ever, lol. There's always funny stuff happening in the background and I live for that).
I like to reread this comic whenever I can, and I also congratulate you for how much your art has evolved! The expressions have become so characteristic of your style that you could practically recognize them anywhere!
I gotta find a simpler way to do it. I know for a fact people don't exhaust themselves as much as I do. I'm not boasting about that, I'm mean I probably execute it in a really dumb and stubborn way. The 2-week + turnover time for one page isn't viable either. If this were a REAL comic or something actually published people wouldn't wait that long. But I am happy to get it out whenever I can. I can't complain too much. And happy that you can still enjoy it all things considered!
Yes, those background details are a benefit of a slow process. When it DOES take this long I can stare at a page for 14 days and think of what it's missing. Stuff usually is thrown in the background just to entertain my brain or spice up the drawing process. It's probably a lot to take in if you're reading through all the pages at once. It's 1 minute at most to read it vs countless days of creating it. People can find stuff they missed if they re-read it which is kind of cool.
Either way, you're too kind for all the supportive words! As long as I know some people understand what I'm doing/going for I'd say it's all worth it.
