I'm a survivor of years of domestic violence. Things got to a point where I didn't realize that the behavior wasn't normal, I was so isolated.
If just one person had pointed out to me that they thought something was awry - I would have left years sooner.
Thank you so much for raising awareness. It's the thing that everyone wants to sweep under the carpet but those who do don't realize that something simple can often set a caged bird free.
