This group has been created as a more open group for artists of all levels who love all things monstrous, creepy or just plain strange. c: Anthros, animals, humans and scenery relating to these themes are completely welcome! However, original species and monsters are the main focus. If this appeals to you, join up and start submitting! However, please only post work that you have put time and effort into, no 5 minute sketches and all that. c:> Limit of one submission per folder per day, with the exception of the Tutorials and References folders, which are unlimited. The Featured folder is for your very best work, you may only submit one deviation per year there. However, there is also a chance of an admin moving an artwork from another folder to Featured if it really catches their eye. |

"Obfuscate" means "to obscure" or "to bewilder".
Obfusc is taken from that word, to imply we enjoy the more dark, creative, "obscure" side of artwork.
It's also to hint at the fact I try to find less known artists to invite here and so on.

I always like dark works, and I really want to try and draw such things, I just keep battling against my skills for now. Maybe I'll be able to do so some day soon ^^

I think that the Desu's Darlings folder looks kinda out of place compare to the rest of the gallery folders. It would fit better with the dark/warped theme of the group if it was convert into a Creepy Cuties (or something similar) folder. For cute but creepy stuff.
Right now a lot of the deviations on that folder are already fit the "cute but creepy" category, so it wouldn't change its core much, but just change its name into a more general one. (Obviously the word "Desu's darlings" doesn't have the same generalization level as "Antho" or "Sci-fi". Ragdoll's folder is an acceptable exception since she's the group mascot.)
