Necklace Design (Initials)

This is my first ever necklace and it's not something that I want to sell BUT I would like to gift it as loyalty trinkets for my customers. 

The B is quite obvious to see but the middle piece is supposed to be the lower B and then I realized that it was legible without the middle piece. The bottom piece is a G and those are his initials - B.G. This is excluding his middle name, though. It's the name he goes by rather than his legal name.

I actually don't have any hand drills and I don't think I'm able to buy any soon... so, I used my crafting/hobby knife to drill a hole into the clay (it was already baked at this point) and it did snap because the hole I was creating was too big so I had to use some super glue and hoped for the best. It did hold together! But the small pieces kept falling apart because I made the gap too big (my excuse was that the first time making a necklace was very finicky, especially since the design is about 2.5mm thick).

It's a cool design, methinks. I like the concept - I think I want to learn how to master it and maybe make a font I can follow or something - these can take up to a day to make, I think, so it's definitely doable. I actually wanted the clay to be flat rather than round because I thought it would be easier to handle but I don't have a surface where the clay WON'T STICK. I should really consider buying a crafting mat because currently, I'm cutting into everything unintentionally since I'm trying to be resourceful.
