This image was somewhat from true events in the making of this comic. This is also a "continuation" from a previous post: Life's A Chibi: Worst Enemy
. I've decided to continue to portray "negativity" as a small black floating chibi-thing. I kept on getting down on myself no matter what I drew. I've decided to use that negativity that was swimming in my head for a long period of time and create something with it.
Inspiration can come from anything: something you witnessed, something that was heard, something that was thought or something that you felt. It could come from a positive or negative emotion. Its up to you to create something that you connect to that is based off of that emotion or used as a source of inspiration ( aka vent art ). Artists use the world around them to draw in inspiration and ideas. Sometimes, nothing in the world inspires them, so they have to use their own imagination. And then there are times when their own imagination lacks anything, so they go with how they feel. It may be a happy, sad, angry or depressed feeling. Each emotion is like a ball of clay. It is up to you to mold something from that ball of clay into something that reflects and speaks to you. The right trigger and inspiration will led you to create something you enjoy and be proud of. You turned an emotion into a work of art and that is something you should be proud of.
