The new Ghostbusters fight a giant version of the Ghost from the Ghostbusters logo.

I wish I was joking.

I've known this for quite some time.

There will be a scene where the villain makes the NYPD dance to dubstep music.

Now compare this villain to Gozer or Vigo the Carpathian.

Doesn't seem like final boss fight material.

And now I've noticed people are making a big deal over James Rolfe (AVGN) saying he's not going to see the movie because it doesn't look interesting to him. Like seriously I thought James video explained his point really well and he didn't do anything like insult people who do want to see the movie, but good lord the tweets I've seen from some people are Dead Seas level of salt. One exception is the parody by Brad Jones (Cinema Snob) his video was more of a lighthearted jab than an outright insult, especially since James is friends with a decent number of the former That Guy with the Glasses critics.

At least James values something more than throwing money at a film he'll most likely hate.

It reminds me of the time when people went to see Transformers: AOE and got so pissed off about it, in the end the studio won because they got the money from the people.

I'm interested to see how it performs at the box office when it comes out, but as for me I'll give it a pass.

Same, I'm giving it a pass as well. I suppose if there was one movie I'm still gonna see regardless of critics though is Suicide Squad. DC is a lot more hit-or-miss than Marvel (look at the review scores of movies like Batman v Superman compared to Captain America: Civil War), but part of me is still hoping Suicide Squad has a chance to be one of the "hits" (though I wonder if I'm just hoping it'll be a hit because I'm just happy to finally see the live action debuts of character like Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and Killer Croc).

Oh yeah, I'm definitely going to give it a watch. From what I've seen it really fits into the dark tone that the DC Cinematic Universe stumbled into, because it's jailed supervillains on death row doing black ops missions where they'll most likely die in the process.

Speaking of superhero films, I'm looking forward to Doctor Strange as well, I like it when Marvel goes out of it's comfort zone to experiment with stranger ideas and concepts, pun intended.

Indeed, Marvel's really been on a roll in the movie department. I just wish Fox would stop being so damn stubborn and give Marvel and Disney the Fantastic 4 already, especially after how bad the last one was. I mean Sony and Marvel struck a deal for Spider-Man, Fox could do the same with the Fantastic 4.
