Cults - The Daemen Of The Great Cosmos by NyxenAvenger Cults - The Daemen Of The Great Cosmos by NyxenAvenger
No cult is as inhuman as the Daemen Of The Great Cosmos, unlike other cults they came into being after the Dark Ones were killed. They were daemen of Parachk until he died, after the cosmic barrier was resealed they were left stranded in Midrealm with no gods to follow. But they eventually abandoned their despair and (united under a single leader) they built a great library deep under the water, where they would collect and store many eldritch relics for studying and learning. The cult is a very isolationist cult, even underspawn do not get pass the watchful eye of the twisted daemen though there have been rare exceptions.

They do not recruit for there is no death among their brethren, each daemen is equal to each other in the cult. Their leader is known is Paras Aduul, an very ancient daeman who wields a mighty celestial sword known as the Fabric-Splitter, it is said that he could use his sword to open up rifts in time and space and suck his enemies in with his cosmic power. Despite his legendary past he is a daemen with centuries worth of wisdom and humility in his soul, and his nature and demeanour could be likened to that of a kindly old man.

The cult uses whatever assets and knowledge at their disposal to pull the strings of Midrealm for their own purposes, usually through the use of lesser-known cults.

And you thought daemen were only in Underrealm, this cult was interesting to do because it deals with the more 'supernatural' elements of the universe of Underrealm, from the messed up visage of the daemen themselves to the cosmic sword of Paras Aduul, they're a lot more inhuman than the other two cults I'd say.

That just about wraps it up for the cults of Underrealm, hope you liked it! :>

I can see them seeming a lot more chaotic evil than the other cults.
