Margot Font by ~nymphont is a wonderful typeface. The impressive amount of characters and font variants make this a highly useful and professional typeface.

The typeface's character itself is playful, yet readable and usable for many different occasions.

Updated 2/20/13
Hi everyone, all four Margot family fonts have been significantly updated along with the preview image so I decided to notify my watchers of this update as well.

The fonts have been expanded to include 249 new glyphs, previously Margot encompassed a total of 390 glyphs whereas the new Margot contains a total of 639. :)

The new glyphs include those in the extended Latin, Greek, and Cyrillic character ranges. Additional letterlike glyphs, number forms and ligatures have also been added.

I hope you like it. Margot is my own personal favorite of my creations to date.

Please feel free to comment, thank you.

Pica-ae, I know that I expressed my appreciation for the DD on this at the time it was given, but I wanted to make a note of it here on the deviation as well. I am very honored for the DD, truly, I am honored, it especially means a lot to me coming from you, Pica-ae, someone whose talent, understanding and taste in art and typography, I consider to be of the highest quality. This font is not my most downloaded or loved publicly, it is not a common or a trendy style, but it is perhaps my only font, that I do not look at and cringe. I see only the things I regret or that I wish I had done differently, when looking at most of my published font works. This one, is one that just works I think, I was able to create the typeface that I had envisioned. It means SO very much to me, that you appreciated this design. Thank you!

P.S. Random fact of the day--Margot Fontaine's real name was Peggy Hookham. Love that you named it after the great ballerina (unless it's a purely wonderful coincidence)!

How do you upload this font to something like, say, Google Drive to use for papers and such?
pica-ae's avatar
I am afraid that is not possible, google drive only allows a very limited set of web-safe fonts, as it is an online application
You'd have to use a program like Word or Open Office to apply this font to text after installing it to your system.

I hope this helps a bit :)
