I mostly just use the pen tool to draw shapes and lines then detail with shapes on top of shapes using the pathfinder>divide tool,...
after I get the shape that I wanted, I fill it in with a solid color then layer that shape with the same shape but with a black/white gradient on multiple transparency to add shading,...
then grouping them together,...
kind of a complicated mess,... o.O

Aw okay,... hmmm I should have thought about this more thoroughly before wanting to join then,... Whether there's a profit or not, I don't like the feeling of being a part of something where someone else will pocket the profit from the work of others instead of it going to something of more value,...
